Each candidate we refer has personally come into our office to complete an employment application and to meet with one of our placement specialists.
When visiting our office, candidates must present:
All applicants must provide detailed information about all previous childcare experiences. They must also provide a detailed and complete work history. Applicants must also provide several personal and professional references.
Once the application is completed, a placement specialist meets with the applicant to discuss their childcare experience, qualifications, work history, job preferences and availability. They must also complete a written safety and health exam.
All candidates are expected to have at minimum, a basic understanding of child development and be knowledgeable about best caregiving practices. They must also be able to outline age-appropriate activities and discipline strategies for children in various stages of development.
