Screening Process
As the leading resource for nanny care in the Houston area, we understand that our clients depend on us to provide them with prescreened and qualified caregivers who are committed to providing outstanding childcare in their absence.
Our staff is dedicated and committed to safety and interviews all childcare as part of our screening process.
All of our caregivers complete a lengthy employment application and undergo a comprehensive pre-employment screening process that includes a childcare safety and knowledge assessment, a multi-state criminal records search, a Harris County and surrounding counties criminal records search and a motor vehicle driving record review.
At minimum, all of our nannies must:
- Have verifiable, professional childcare references.
- Be able to legally accept employment in the United States.
- Be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Have a valid U.S. driver’s license with a good driving record and current auto insurance.
- Have access to a vehicle to be used for the transportation of children.
- Submit to a background check.
- Be a non-smoker.
- Be at least 19 years old.
- Have a high school diploma, GED or formal education in child related studies.
- Have current CPR/First Aid certification or be willing to obtain it prior to starting a position (offered to qualified applicants at no cost).
- Be willing to submit to a background check.
